Leaving Australia
I wonder why the manufactures are leaving Australia?The answer is so obvious; employers simply cannot afford to pay staff. The great gravy train continues for the Australian worker.
Current entitlements include:
4 weeks holiday per year
payment of an extra 17.5% of Salary whilst on holiday
an extra 2 months paid holiday after 10 years employment
8 days sick leave which is often taken as holiday
An extra 9% of salary paid into a pension fund by the employer
Double-time for a Saturday
Double-time-and-a-half for a Sunday
Union picnic days ( do they really all go off for a picnic)
etc etc etc.. afraid the list just goes on
